Matt Dinniman must have been busy before he finished writing the eighth Dungeon Crawler Carl (DCC) book

Operation Bounce House is a fun book that is similar to DCC in some aspects: outsiders come to disturb your peace, and, well, kill you; there’s some kind of spectacle going on; politics matters, both in the setting and in the plot; and they’re basically underdogs fighting against giant corporations and governments.

Normally I’d not be happy to just compare any book written by an author to another that is “the famous one” they published, but this one seems like a shorter, much lighter version.
I mean, DCC is much better, in my opinion, but this was a nice fun read.
